Next Meeting:  at the Overlake Round Table Pizza Restaurant

Tuesday, February 23rd, 7:00pm

DUES ARE DUE:  We had a pretty good sign-up last month.  But a few did not show or forget their checkbook.  Come early, grab a pizza and/or salad and have some extra time to chat and pay your dues.  If you can't make the meeting, be sure to drop a check into the mail to the address above.

Annual dues are $24 for single and family memberships and $12 for senior (65+) memberships.  Delinquent memberships will have their newsletters cancelled if not renewed by March.  For those interested in business card advertisement in the back of the newsletter, contact Ernie Anderson (425) 747-2865 for details.

February Meeting: This month we will have Rick Michael give us the run-down on fishing during the up-coming Springer season.  Current projections indicate a banner run this year.

In addition to Rick's presentation, we expect to have a number of CCA raffle tickets for guided trips with Mike Sexton.  Do not know the details about when the drawing will be or when the guide trip will be, yet. More at the meeting.

Springer Seminar at 3-Rivers Marine:  If Rick peaked your interest, this might interest you. On the Saturday, at noon, following our meeting Three Rivers Marine will be sponsoring a presentation on Springer fishing.  Pre-registration is recommended.  Food and refreshments will be available with proceeds being donated.

January Meeting:  Thanks to Jerome Jefferson, owner and operator of the “By The River” Sports store in Fall City for his comments and perspective on the local rivers

Sportsmans’ Expo:   This year’s Sportsmans’ show was just after last month's meeting night, running from Wednesday January 27th thru Sunday January 31st.  Several Club members had a great time helping out at the Kid’s Fishing Pond.  The action was super fast this year.  The fish were very aggressive.  Just ask Roger Anderson.  He had fish jumping out of the water just to get to the bait.

Raffle Donations:  A special thanks to John Dunkel.  He donated several “prizes” for our raffle.
